Two Eastern Cape traffic officers, a driving school instructor and the speaker of a local municipali­ty have appeared in court for alleged corruption, authoritie­s said yesterday.

Hawks spokespers­on Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said the two traffic officials and the driving school instructor from Aliwal North were arrested for allegedly selling learner and driver’s licences. A senior official at the Walter Sisulu municipali­ty was arrested for fraud and corruption. – ANA
