The well-known Lake Predator Park, a tourist attraction in Hartbeespo­ort, on the banks of the Hartbeespo­ort Dam against the slopes of the Magaliesbe­rg mountains, is going on auction.

This tourist attraction and property is the ideal investment for expanding or entry into the tourism industry.

The property is based in the town of Hartbeespo­ort in the North West province, a popular holiday, tourist and weekend destinatio­n for visitors from nearby Gauteng Province.

The property will be auctioned by Pieter Geldenhuys, from Bidders Choice, on 21 April at 11am at the premises of Lake Predator Park Hartbeespo­ort. Country Market, Bush Babies Monkey Sanctuary and other leisure-oriented venues around the dam, as well as a number of other leisure developmen­ts and resorts in progress.

The property consists of a main house with four bedrooms, staff quarters with twelve bachelor rooms, kitchen area and bathrooms, plus another house with five bedrooms.

The entertainm­ent area includes a restaurant and pub, large rock pool, thatched boma and outdoor bar area, ten luxury tents surroundin­g the dam, with a boma, lounge and kitchen.

The office area has a warehouse, offices, workshop and numerous out-buildings.

Lake Predator Park has a zoo licence and excellent facilities to accommodat­e a large variety of animals, including breeding camps for lions and various other predators, a large quarantine area, elephant handling facility (not in use), veterinary surgery and clinic, medicine rooms with a kitchen and overnight quarters for animals (optional).
