Fatal pedestrian accident in KZN

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was killed on Saturday when he was knocked over by a car on the N2 in Umkomaas, on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast, paramedics said.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene, they found the man’s body in the middle of the road. The car that had hit the man was found parked a short distance away in the righthand lane, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

“Paramedics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life,” Meiring said. – ANA
