Pupil dies in freak accident

A Grade Six pupil at Edgemead Primary School has died after he fell eight metres from the school hall ceiling in a freak accident.

The Western Cape Education Department yesterday confirmed the death of Kyle Grace on Thursday after he apparently climbed up a staircase behind the stage in the school hall where he found himself in the ceiling and fell down when the ceiling boards gave way. – ANA
