The DEOD SuperGP roadshow will perform at the Red Star Raceway near Delmas this Saturday, with all three of its primary categories in action. The man to beat in the SuperGP category must be Clint Seller (MiWay Yamaha R1), with his closest adversarie­s people like Greg Gildenhuys (Autohaus Towing Kawasaki ZX10R), Lance Isaacs (Supabets BMW S1000RR), David McFadden (RPM Centre BMW S1000RR), AJ Venter (Hygenica Yamaha R1), Michael White (Consortium Shipping Yamaha R1) and Brandon Goode (Linex Yamaha R1).

The SuperMaste­rs will see Hendrik de Bruin (Yamaha R1) and Heinrich Rheeder (Motorrad BMW S1000RR) fight for supremacy, with Justin Gillesen (Supabets BMW S1000RR), Johnny Krieger (Hygenica Yamaha R1) and Beau Levey (Moto Blu Cru Yamaha R1), also able to get into the act.

Steven Odendaal (Petra Yamaha Racing R6) should be the automatic Super600 victory favourite. Chasing him will be people like Hayden Jonas (MiWay Yamaha), Blaze Baker (Uncle Andy Suzuki GSXR600), Aiden Liebenberg (Shop #74 Kawasaki ZX6), Jesse Boshoff (Phoenix Payroll Kawasaki ZX6) and Dino Iozzo (MiWay Yamaha R6).

Riders to watch in the SuperJunio­r category will include Taric van der Merwe (Evolve Nutrition KTM390), Ricardo Otto (Inex Constructi­on KTM390), Tyreece Robert (KTM390). Sam Lochoff (Samurai KTM390), Luca Coccioni (RAD KTM390) and Jason Linaker (Samurai KTM390).

The national classes will be supported by a full programme of regional classes.

As usual, practice and qualifying will take place on Friday with two races for each category on Saturday.

Spectators who arrive before 10am on Saturday with a donation of tinned food will be granted free admission to Red Star.

All the food collected will be donated to a deserving charity close to the circuit. – Motorcycle Correspond­ent
