Fourteen hurt as taxi hits tree

Fourteen people were injured after a taxi collided with a tree, off the R529 Giyani Road, near Letsitele, in Limpopo.

“One man was trapped inside the front,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said

Provincial Fire Services had to use specialised rescue equipment to free him.

“He had sustained numerous injuries and was in a serious condition.” The other 13 people were taken to hospital. – ANA
