Strengthening their marriage vows with every push-up or pull-up. CLINT AND STEFFI BRINK

- Kgosi Modisane

Putting their vows to the test, newlyweds, actor and musician Clint and former Miss Namibia 2015 and Paralympic T11 visually impaired trainer Steffi Brink, have taken the fitness and bodybuilding spheres by storm.

Having started their relationship on Instagram, Clint admits to having been attracted to wife Steffi’s strength and dedication to health and fitness.

Her being a qualified sports manager and professional athlete, Steffi definitely earns the title of “superwoman” in the eyes of her proud husband.

Dedicating their lives to health and fitness, the couple enjoy every minute spent in the gym sweating and gaining muscle mass.

Their devotion to each other is illustrated in the encouragement to go that extra mile doing push-ups or monkey bar pull-ups, which to a bystander could be considered showing off.

It is almost impossible to have a full-on conversation with either of them about their personal fitness goals without them mentioning the other and how they feed off each other’s energy.

“We started with the body building journey in January and competed at the Millennium Gold plate. I managed to win my division with an overall line-up of almost 20 ladies.

“I then got an invite to compete at the Arnold’s Classic Africa show, and stepped on stage in the Bikini Fitness division. I managed to obtain third place at this international event with only one show prior to it.

“It’s only by the grace of God that I am able to do what I love, and I thank my husband for introducing me to the sport. Now I have a holistic approach to wellness,” said Steffi.
