PANEL DISCUSSION FROM BUSINESS KINGS A foot in the door for influential leaders.

- This panel discussion has been created as a national conversation to cultivate an intuitive guidance to conscious leadership and it comprises an influential group of conscious leaders. They are:

Some of South Africa’s finest minds will discuss consciousness in action at the Conscious Companies Leadership dialogue breakfast to be hosted by Strate today from 9am to 11am.

This high-profile breakfast is a direct result of the highly successful Conscious Companies Awards 2017 held at the Hyatt Regency in Rosebank on May 11.

It was the first of its kind to celebrate visionary leaders and organisations who heeded the call to create a conscious business environment.

Conscious Companies SA has assembled some of the country’s finest minds for the breakfast in a move to reveal consciousness in action (or the lack thereof) and point the way forward. How do you turn the actions and behaviour of a Jacob Zuma into the actions of a Nelson Mandela, whose own personal needs were secondary to the overall wellbeing of the collective?

Dr Ian Weinberg, neurosurgeon, neuroscientist and conscious leadership coach.

Professor Mervyn King, corporate governance guru, Chairman of the King Committee and Chairman Emeritus of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).

Dr Nkosana Moyo executive chairman of the Mandela Institute for Development Studies.

Ronnie Ntuli, entrepreneur, financier, founder and Chairman of Thelo Group

Monica Singer, visionary leader and winner of the Conscious Companies Award.

Adam Craker, CEO of IQ Business who is robust in his quest to unify business, labour and government and who was a finalist at the Conscious Companies Awards 2017

Marc Lubner CEO of AfrikaTikkun and founder of the Smile Foundation who has made an indelible difference in society and a Conscious Companies award winner in the NGO category.

These are enlightened leaders and the trailblazers of consciousness in action and their work breaks the current cycle of deceitful, blinkered leadership in this country.

They display a strong sense of purpose, values, innovation and an intuitive understanding of people to create meaningful human relationships with their stakeholders.

Says Brenda Kali, Managing Director of Conscious Companies SA: “The Conscious Leadership Dialogue Breakfasts which will be held twice yearly, give context and breathe life into King IV. It celebrates conscious leaders who steer their companies to prosper, perform and pursue profits while placing a premium on people, community, culture and the environment beyond the bottom line.”

She adds: “It also provides an opportunity for leaders to shape the conversation, and influence other companies to heed the call to create a conscious holistic business environment apart from the tick box CSI activities. What sets these conversations apart is that it translates the King codes into tangible action.”
