Police search for ‘kidnapped’ man

Cape Town police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of a 71-year-old businessperson who was allegedly kidnapped in Woodstock on Tuesday night.

Police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana said the elderly man, Sadeck Zhaun Ahmed, was held up at gunpoint by three men in front of his business at about 5.40pm.

His bakkie was recovered abandoned in Victoria Road, Woodstock. – ANA
