Dineo and the ‘Dapper Rapper’

MOEKETSI AND LANGA: QUINTESSENTIAL FASHIONISTAS ARE SA’S COOLEST COUPLE

- Kgosi Modisane

A peep at their best looks and a test who wears the pants the best.

Whether in or out of the spotlight, South Africa’s coolest couple, actress and presenter Dineo Moeketsi and hip-hop rapper and accountant Zothile “Solo” Langa, are a force to be reckoned with.

Having spent more than four years together, the pair have kept their relationship steady and immune to the influence of the entertainment industry.

Most would argue they are joined at the hip as they combine faultlessly on the red carpet. And for Moeketsi that adds comfort, as she knows the shoes, bags and hair are minor accessories to her perfect life when she stands next to hunky Langa.

A man of few words, the handsome rapper has chosen to let his threads do most of the talking as he has always looked absolutely stylish, whether in a simple jeans and T-shirt combo or in a Palse Homme floral printed suit. Langa’s shy exterior leaves you amazed at his chiselled abs. And his dimpled cheeks demand attention when he smiles in designer clothes.

Being a hiphop-minded individual, the dapper gent has taken the alternative route when it comes to fashion and image, proving that you don’t have to wear your jeans low to get your voice heard. It’s rather a matter of manners maketh the man.

The dashing pair share many of their stylish moments on social media. It was, however, in real life at Greyville during last year’s Durban July that the couple marked the dawn of a new style era in hues of gold, brown and beige by local couture duo Quiteria and George.

What sets this couple apart is not how they manage to perfectly execute a look but rather how they complement each other effortlessly.
