Buy your dream wheels on auction

- Evidence of this can be seen in the results from PVA’s previous vehicle auction held in Johannesburg on August 23:

Next week, Park Village Auctions will bring a large assortment of genuine, repossessed vehicles to both Johannesburg and Durban auction floors as the demand for quality used vehicles continues to grow.

That’s the word from PVA’s Clive Lazarus who says that while used car prices are soaring amidst diminishing quality used car stock levels, the upcoming auctions present a favourable opportunity for buyers to acquire such assets at fair and reasonable rates. A 2009 Chevrolet Aveo LS Auto sold for R47 500.00 A 2011 Mercedes C220 CDI sold for R120 000.00 A 2016 Ford Everest 3.0 sold for R380 000.00 A wide selection of vehicles ranging from basic hatchbacks and student orientated cars to top of the range SUV’s and luxury sedans are set to go under the hammer.

The first auction will take place in Johannesburg from 10:30am on Wednesday September 20 at PVA’s Bank Repo Centre, 221 Main Road, Martindale, Johannesburg. Viewing will take place the day before from 9am to 4pm.

PVA’s Durban based auction will take place at the Bank Disposal Centre, unit 10, Cedar Park, Quarry Place off Queen Nandi Drive, River Horse Estate, Durban on Thursday, September 21 from 6:30pm. Lots can be viewed from 9am to 4pm the day before.

Despite lower price inflation on new vehicles, Lazarus predicts that both auctions will attract a large number of buyers who are looking to achieve affordable monthly costs and offset possible fuel price increases in the face of the rand’s fluctuating performance against the dollar.
