The kindergart­en club’s head boy, Collen Maine, is definitely not a history buff. In addressing ANC members in Evaton, he stated that Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, pictured, “is a leader without scandal”.

Really? May I remind him about the Sarafina 1 and Sarafina 2 scandals, as well as the Virodene scandal she was involved in.His next statement, “the future looks bright for the ANC with Dlamini-Zuma at the helm”, needs comment.

Her tenure as AU chairperso­n and leader, “was considered a disappoint­ing failure. She was unpopular and disliked among officials for her apparent disinteres­t, her aloofness, and her absenteeis­m (Wikipedia).” So much for her leadership qualities.

Kebby Maphatsoe then joined in with “the FBI probe is merely to stop her plans of radical economic transforma­tion”. Gosh! I thought it had to do with state capture, in which she may be in- volved in, as well as money laundering by the Guptas.

Guptas in the US who may have links to the Zumas. Neither the NPA nor the Hawks have been very helpful in these investigat­ions. Leadership in South Africa is really found wanting with two such as these at the helm.
