Two giants of European club football clash in Turin this evening as Juventus host Barcelona with both sides in position to qualify from group D to the last-16 of the Uefa Champions League.

Barcelona only need to draw with Juventus to seal first place in the group, while Juventus will be certain of going through with a win, though a draw or defeat will take their qualification to the final matchday, if Sporting Lisbon win at home to Olympiakos.

Barcelona thrashed Juventus 3-0 at the Nou Camp on Matchday 1, with Lionel Messi grabbing a brace, and are flying high in La Liga, four points clear at the top. Juventus are struggling a bit by their standards in Serie A, a 3-2 defeat to Sampdoria this weekend leaving them four points behind leaders Napoli.

I do expect them to take a point from this game, however, with the spoils shared in Turin.
