ANC will suffer the consequences
The ANC and government have clearly been role models for many companies in South Africa. The latest statistic is Steinhoff, who have simulated government with smoke and mirrors chicanery and creative accounting.
It seems that even the government has been outdone.
The exception with the Steinhoff saga is that their chief has resigned, whereas the leader of our government continues to cling to power. Perhaps, however, that is a characteristic of African politics.
But the irony is the ANC and government are now calling for criminal charges and for the entire board of Steinhoff to resign when its own leadership won’t.
The media is ablaze with the forthcoming ANC elective conference this month, as if it matters who is elected.
Entities such as KPMG, McKinsey, Bell Pottinger and Steinhoff, procreated as a result of ANC and government malefaction, and before the next election it is likely that more improprieties
