It is time to deliver to the masses

-

The election of Cyril Ramaphosa, pictured, as the president of the ANC, ends the intense speculation about who would succeed the corruption troubled President Jacob Zuma – but that does not automatically mean South Africa will see economic and political stability.

Equitably implementing public policies and constitutional ambitions and effective service delivery and fulfilling the vision of the founding members of the ANC will be Ramaphosa’s biggest challenge.

Efficient management of government structures and policy implementation is critically important in managing investor confidence and restoring stability in the forex market.

wasteful government spending and focus on sectors that support job and wealth creation, poverty alleviation, transformation, and grow the tax base.

I convey my most sincere and warmest congratulations to the new president and the leadership of the ANC. I hope and pray that the new leaders will reinforce democratic structures and institutions and improve the economy.
