Manchester City’s extraordinary winning run in the English Premier League was finally stopped by Crystal Palace on New Year’s Eve, though City remain unbeaten and well on course for the title.

Pep Guardiola’s side couldn’t have asked for a much better fixture in terms of getting back to winning ways, meanwhile, than today’s home game against Watford.

Marco Silva’s side started the season well but have faded badly of late and were embarrassed 2-1 at home to Swansea on Saturday.

I expect City, despite a couple of injury worries, to win this one at a canter.
