Waiting for love to knock on your door or for the one you have a crush on to realise that you exist? Then look no further as hilarious social media star, musician and former V-Table co-presenter Moshe Ndiki plays Cupid in the second season of Uyang’thanda Na?

Produced by Parental Advisory Production­s, Uyang’thanda Na? is a reality dating show where lonely hopefuls reveal their love for the person they have a crush on.

Each episode concludes with a verdict from the admired, who answers the very pertinent question: Uyang’thanda Na?

Ndiki rose to fame when he became a social media sensation. His hilarious outbursts, unorthodox dress sense and candid character is expected to bring a lighter side to the show.

Asked how he feels about joining Uyang’thanda Na? Ndiki expressed delight.

“I believe in love and reckon it is something worth fighting for. Fight for it hard and always give love one more chance,” he said.

Head of reality content at M-Net local entertainm­ent channels Sphumelele Sibeko was equally keen, saying: “Moshe’s engagement with our hopefuls is effortless and will certainly keep the viewers intrigued.

“We look forward to having him on the show, and trust that his sparkling personalit­y will come through.”

The funny vlogger’s popularity has also landed him a part on the popular telenovela, The Queen, playing Prince who is for Harriet Khoza (the matriarch in the story played by Connie Ferguson) and anti Gracious Mabuza (played by Rami Chuene) character.

His first appearance was towards the end of December last year, making him a prevailing household name. Ndiki pointed out that even though he studied to become an actor, having a breakout role on one of the most watched series in Mzansi was a big deal for him. He said he had difficulti­es bringing his character to life, however, fans of The Queen have taken to Twitter to say that he is more than doing justice to the role. “Moshe Ndiki serving me all kinds of life on #TheQueenMz­ansi,” one fan wrote. “My year has been made @MosheNdiki as Prince,” said another. Catch the return of Uyang’thanda Na? on Mzansi Magic, DStv channel 161 on Wednesday, January 10, as wouldbe suitors follow their hearts in pursuit of love, and The Queen every week day on the same channel at 9pm.
