Sub-station blows up, 2 hurt

Two people were injured yesterday morning when the sub-station they were working on exploded and caught alight in Sunnyside, Pretoria.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said when they arrived at the scene a doctor was attending to one of the employees, who sustained serious injuries.

The second escaped with moderate injuries. They were treated at the scene before they were transported to hospital. – ANA
