Senzo’s murder must now be solved
It has been more than two years since former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, pictured, was gunned down in front of six people in Vosloorus at Kelly Khumalo’s parents’ home.
To our surprise no one has been arrested, although there were witnesses on the fateful day. Surely somebody knows something? There are neighbours who may have seen something. There are contradicting statements from some of the witnesses and there are allegations of intimidation – all in one case.

on the investigations carried out by the authorities and the little progress made.
It is said that Sello Chicco Twala was protecting his people – his son in particular – but he has now come to the fore saying: “Let justice take place. If my son is involved take him to jail.” That tells me that the net is now closing in.
Congratulations, Sam, for crying out for justice. It is not yet done, but there are signs of victory.
If Sam had no platform to cry on, who would have heard about his cries? If the senior Meyiwa didn’t have the persistence to forge forward despite the intimidation by those that feel they may be affected by the investigation outcomes, where would this case be now?
I believe it would have long been flushed down the drain.
Justice in most cases is served for those with big names and money or connections.
