Lebo stars for Lille

Lebo Mothiba’s return to Lille got off to the best possible start as he scored in a 2-2 draw at Nantes on Sunday. Mothiba (below) had a fine first part of the season on loan from Lille at Valenciennes in Ligue 2 and his parent club negotiated to take him back in January. Mothiba, now 22, signed for Lille in 2016, but this was his first Ligue 1 start and he produced a fine header from a corner to draw his side level at 1-1. His actions earned praise on Twitter from fellow Bafana Bafana player Keagan Dolly, who plays for Montpellier.
