Mamelodi Sundowns go into tonight’s match against Free State Stars knowing that anything than less than a winwill put them under pressure as far as the league title race is concerned. The Brazilians lead second-placed Kaizer Chiefs by just four points.

Sundowns will have their work cut out against a Stars side that has surprised many this season by being among the sides challenging for the league title. Coach Luc Eymael has turned Ea Lla Koto into genuine title contenders.

Eymael is well aware that a victory against Sundowns tonight will not only take Stars to second position, but will cut the Brazilians’ lead over them to just three points. The Belgian coach, therefore, will try to come up with a plan to beat Pitso Mosimane’s team. But I think Sundowns’ experience will give them the edge. So I think they’ll be too strong for Stars tonight.
