While we anticipate our big derby which is penned down for Saturday, Australians will be enjoying theirs this evening as Melbourne City are home to cross town rivals Melbourne Victory in an A-League match.

The rivalry between the two has been growing and the first two matches for this season were split – each claiming a win.

They both need the three points and for contrasting reasons. City want to narrow the gap opened to eight points by Newcastle Jets at the weekend while Victory want to get some momentum going. A home victory for City is my prediction for this one.
