SATURDAY SOCIAL CLUB STARTS AT EMPERORS Prime Circle, Fokofpolisiekar, Parlotones, Just Jinger among acts.
The Saturday Social Club, a new series of music concerts presented by Rush Productions, start at the Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace on the East Rand on Saturday.
The concerts feature some of SA’s best musical talents, including Prime Circle, Fokofpolisiekar, The Narrow, The Parlotones, Just Jinger and up-and-coming Dirty Moonshine, The Sweet Resistance and Six String Stories.
“These shows promise to be an amazing music experience in a social, friendly space,” says Nic Rush, Rush Productions MD and event organiser and lead of Six String Stories, which will be a mainstay at each of the SCC events.
“There’s nothing quite like a great rock show and we’re excited April 14 – Prime Circle, Dirty Moonshine, Six String Stories. June 9– Fokofpolisiekar, The Sweet Resistance. August 4 – The Narrow, CrashCarBurn, Newtown Knife Gang. Shows start at 8pm. to grow this brand and showcase some of the best SA music heavyweights with some of the top upand-comings.
