SATURDAY SOCIAL CLUB STARTS AT EMPERORS Prime Circle, Fokofpolis­iekar, Parlotones, Just Jinger among acts.

The Saturday Social Club, a new series of music concerts presented by Rush Production­s, start at the Red Roman Shed at Emperors Palace on the East Rand on Saturday.

The concerts feature some of SA’s best musical talents, including Prime Circle, Fokofpolis­iekar, The Narrow, The Parlotones, Just Jinger and up-and-coming Dirty Moonshine, The Sweet Resistance and Six String Stories.

“These shows promise to be an amazing music experience in a social, friendly space,” says Nic Rush, Rush Production­s MD and event organiser and lead of Six String Stories, which will be a mainstay at each of the SCC events.

“There’s nothing quite like a great rock show and we’re excited April 14 – Prime Circle, Dirty Moonshine, Six String Stories. June 9– Fokofpolis­iekar, The Sweet Resistance. August 4 – The Narrow, CrashCarBu­rn, Newtown Knife Gang. Shows start at 8pm. to grow this brand and showcase some of the best SA music heavyweigh­ts with some of the top upand-comings.
