SAA needs money ‘now’, says CEO
SAA needs a new capital injection “now” to stay afloat and is in talks with banks and National Treasury for “an open credit line”, its CEO said yesterday.
SAA, which has not been profitable since 2011, has already received state guarantees of nearly R20 billion. “We need access to capital to sustain operations,” CEO Vuyani Jarana told parliament.
