French coaching legend dies at 70
– Former French football coach Henri Michel, who also coached Mamelodi Sundowns, has died at the age of 70.
Michel played in midfield for Nantes and earned 58 international caps between 1967 and 1980.
Under his guidance, France reached he semifinals of the World Cup in Mexico in 1986.
He went on to coach a host of African countries and clubs, with his last assignment in Kenya in 2012. – AFP
