NFD stint for Ngcobo?

-

A source in the Kaizer Chiefs camp has revealed to that reserve team skipper Nkosinghiphile Ngcobo is being considered for a loan move to a National First Division club to gain some experience next season. The source says the club believes the 17-year old midfielder has made a big contribution in the club’s reserve team playing in the MDC League and now it is time for him to try something new and the NFD is just the perfect opportunity for him show what he has to offer once he gets a chance to play in the first team. “Ngcobo has been brilliant in the MDC and remember, the boy is also a senior team member. They want to test him in another league and the MDC is not as competitive as the NFD, so they believe he will grow once he gets a chance to play in the second tier,” said the source.

has it on good authority that SuperSport United are interested in bringing Lebogang Manyama (above) on board after the 27-year-old struggled at his Turkish side Konyaspor. The Tembisa-born attacker left Cape Town City at the start of the recently concluded 2017/18 season. Manyama, a former player who spent three years at the club between 2013 and 2016, is said to be on his way back the Premier Soccer League and could join United. Meanwhile, City chairman John Comitis has revealed he would love to have his former captain back in the Mother City.
