Shaun manages to escape but the four men hold the children hostage in what potentially is a life-threatening situation that challenges daughter.

Locked out, Shaun goes on a mission to break into this house with seemingly impenetrable security

Directed by award-winning Australian-born film director James McTeigue, Breaking In, a $6 million (R75 million) movie, looks at the lengths to which a mother will go to protect the lives of her children.

Each riveting scene dramatically captures the thrill and suspense of what that situation both mother and would be like.

Main producer and lead actress Union gives a commanding performance, fully embodying the frustrations of any mother seeking to save her kids from danger.

From the first sign of danger until the very end, the character is operating on survival instinct alone.

As the film unfolds, the audience picks up pieces and clues detailing the ambiguous, sketchy relationship between the deceased father and now tough-as-teak mother Shaun.
