Can Belgium’s talented side finally fulfill its immense potential at the 2018 Fifa World Cup?

Any team featuring attacking talent like Kevin de Bruyne, Eden Hazard and Romelu Lukaku, and a top goalkeeper like Thibault Courtois, to name but some of their world-class players, should have a chance of winning the World Cup.

This generation of Belgian players has underachieved thus far on the global stage, however, going out in the quarterfinals of both the 2014 Fifa World Cup and the 2016 European Championships.

Today, they play their final warm-up game in Brussels against Costa Rica, who were a surprise package at the 2014 World Cup, also reaching the last eight.
