Matete ‘will not go’

-

According to reports in Botswana, South African midfielder Tsepo Matete, who plays for Township Rollers, is said to be one of those players who won’t be part of the club next season. The report suggests Matete was advised by Rollers coach Nikola Kavazovic to terminate his contract. However, a source close to the player has denied the reports and revealed that the former Baroka FC player is set to stay at the club. “There is no such thing, “Skhwama” is loved in Botswana, he even helped the club win the league this past season. He might not have played a lot of games, but did well whenever he was given a chance. He has been playing as a left-back most of the time and has done well. There is no way the club would release him, unless he wants to leave,” said the source.
