Kenya reeling from epidemics
Several counties in Kenya are on high alert, with the country’s health ministry issuing a warning against the outbreak of four diseases.
Director of medical services Jackson Kioko said epidemics of cholera, measles, chikungunya and Rift Valley fever had been reported since January, the Daily Nation said yesterday.
A total of 4 954 cholera cases had been reported since the beginning of the year. –ANA
