Aston Villa have hit the ground running in the English Championship this season with two wins and a draw in their first three games.

Steve Bruce’s charges welcome Brentford at Villa Park tonight, with the Bees also having enjoyed a good start this season.

Brentford are also yet to lose a match and have recorded two wins and one draw putting them level on seven points with Villa.

The Bees, however, are fourth in the league on goal difference ahead of Villa, who are fifth.

The team’s last four meetings have ended in two draws, while Brentford have managed to secure two victories.

But, going into this game, I will have to go with a Villa victory.
