It is safe to say you have had a special gameweek in Fantasy Premier League if you manage to score over 100 points, especially if you haven’t played your bench boost or triple captain.

And this week has been extra special for Haroun Moolla and his Nana’s Team, who have shot to the top of the Phakaaathi Private Fantasy League’s October competition. The player who picks up the most points in October will win themselves a Chiro master queen base set worth R6 000.

Moolla was successful like many others in this weekend’s FPL, as he captained Eden Hazard, the Chelsea man getting a goal and an assist in the Blues’ 3-0 win at Southampton. That got him a healthy 28 points. Callum Wilson (below), who popped up with two assists and a goal in Bournemouth’s surprise 4-0 hammering of Watford, was also in Nana’s Team, as was Matt Doherty, who scored and helped keep a clean sheet at the back as Wolves won 1-0 at Crystal Palace.

It was a high-scoring week overall, with Aidan O’Donnell’s Blink1-Eto’o falling just short of a century, netting 93 points. O’Donnell had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in his team, the Arsenal striker getting two goals and an assist in his side’s 5-1 hammering of Fulham.

Don’t forget that you can still enter the Phakaaathi Private Fantasy League, for your chance to win awesome monthly prizes. Just follow the rules in the advert at the bottom of this page. In the meantime, here is the top 10 for October thus far.
