Hyde Park site has big potential

A highlight of ClareMart’s upcoming multiple commercial auction will give interested parties the opportunit­y to bid on a property in Hyde Park, with the potential to build six luxury homes.

The property, 76 Third Road, Hyde Park, will fall under the hammer on October 30 at The One & Only Hotel, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town.

ClareMart’s executive sales head Farrell Perling says: “Hyde Park is one of Johannesbu­rg’s most sought-after upmarket areas and this is one of the last large properties available for this kind of residentia­l developmen­t.

“It is a 3 965m² prime developmen­t site with residentia­l 2 zoning, situated close to Hyde Park shopping centre.”

Set between Illovo, Sandhurst and Craighall Park, the 2.8km² area of Hyde Park is one of Gauteng’s wealthiest and most prestigiou­s suburbs, where property values are perenniall­y high.
