Zwane now happier

-

Former Cape Town All Stars and Orlando Pirates midfielder Sipho Zwane (below) has found a new home at ABC Motsepe League side JDR Stars, a source has confirmed to The midfielder, who was unable to make a mark at Pirates – leaving the team without making an appearance – was anticipated to become a star at Bucs following some stellar performances for All Stars in the NFD. “I think sometimes it’s about luck for some players, and Zwane is one of those players who is not lucky enough. He is really talented, but some people never got to see it. He is playing for JDR now after his time at Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila ended. He is just 26-years-old. If he continues to work hard I am sure we will see him in the PSL (Premiership),” said the source.

Nyirenda on verge of the sack

Baroka FC are said to be already searching for a new coach as Wedson Nyirenda (above), who is currently suspended, is about to be shown the door, sources have revealed. Despite changing a few things at the club, Nyirenda has not been able to get enough good results and the club’s management are said to be unhappy and want him out. “It is sad because he was doing well. You could see where he was trying to take the team but unfortunately some people within the club didn’t like his approach. He was maybe a little too professional for them and exposed their inefficiencies which they didn’t like at all, that’s why he is on his way out,” said a source.
