It seems president forgot the troops

-

Such an important day, Armistice Day, but our president thought it more important to go and campaign in the Eastern Cape on his Thuma mina story.

Instead of joining world leaders in commemorating this historical day to represent our country, he is more concerned to keep the ANC in power.

So much so for SA to be a global player!

Shame on you!

ing incident when, according to your article, there are adequately qualified doctors in SA.

How many accompanied him there? Who foots that bill?

Craig,

1. An unattended tap running in a public bathroom. 2. A tap tightened fully, but still leaking on Umhlanga beachfront – and has been like this for six months. 3. In the gym, people leaving the water running while they soap down outside the shower, or leave the basin tap running while shaving. 4. Cleaning paving/driveways with a hosepipe instead of sweeping it. 5. Leaving the hose running while the car is being cleaned/soaped. 6. Running a full bath for one person to use.

In my opinion, water is not seen as the precious gift it is and it is wasted terribly.

We should be setting an example to our children and teaching them that every drop counts. Everybody should do their bit to make a difference.

Derek Krummeck,

Umhlanga
