Overseas parcels land up shared by thieves

Post Office can’t deliver cards on time and steals parcel, writes

Michael Morrell,

Ihave read an article in your newspaper about the postal service. I want to tell of my pains with South African postal services. have family in South Africa. If I want to send Christmas cards, I must post these by July in hopes on them arriving in time – but some still miss December and arrive in January the next year.

If I want to send a parcel, the only safe one to send must be full of poison.

Nothing gets through without being ripped open, stolen, and taped back up. I am unable to send gifts to reach the right recipient. No, stolen and sold.

What a disgusting way for the government to show its true colours. The postal officials tell me this is normal. They cannot sack the thieves as they are protected by the union who are protected by the ANC.
