Total eyes more output growth

Total is eyeing further strong growth in oil and gas production this year after record output last year enabled it to post a 28% jump in full-year earnings.

Total said production was expected to rise by 9% this year. It also announced a major, new discovery off SA’s coast that could comprise about one billion barrels of total resources of gas condensate and light oil. –
