UN car crash kills 4, 9 hurt

– A traffic accident involving a UN armoured vehicle killed four people and injured nine in Port-au-Prince on Saturday.

This is according to police and the UN.

The vehicle had lost the use of its brakes while driving in the capital and collided with a collective taxi – known as a tap-tap – according to witnesses who saw the accident happen.

An investigation is underway to determine the specific cause of the accident. – AFP
