There will be comics, movies, gaming, paintball and lazer tag events, as well as cosplay, Parkour, live entertainment, music and magic with lots of prizes to be won.

ComicEx SA, an exciting entertainment experience, is coming to Sun Exhibits, GrandWest on Marcg 23 and 24. This innovative show is bigger and better than before, this year it’s not just about Comics, it has something for everyone. Previously focusing exclusively on comics, cosplay and gaming, ComicEx has evolved into an all-round entertainment brand.

This festival is all about sci-fi, fantasy, comic, gadget, and an Adventure World. There will be comics, movies, gaming, paintball and lazer tag events, as well as cosplay, Parkour, live entertainment, music and magic with lots of prizes to be won.

There will be more than 50 exhibitors, over 20 artists, and 20 gaming stations.

You can also take a look around the artists’ alley and chat to the artists, buy from the specialised exhibitors, and even get a free photograph with one of the fantastic backdrops or cosplay characters in the DionWired Cannon photo booths.

“ComicEx is a magical event,” says Elouise Matthys, the PR and promotions manager at GrandWest.

“It’s a place where adults can enjoy being kids again.

“To make it extra special, the organisers also support local animal shelters, aid and environmental organisations, and children’s charities,” she says.
