My Nedbank Cup Player of the Tournament nominee is Dumisani Zuma of Kaizer Chiefs. He is very clever with the ball, and in hispositioning and assisting too. He’s scoring goals for fun and is very young. Thanks to Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp for believing in the boy. Irvin

Thembinkosi Lorch must be crowned PSL Player of the Season. He has been consistent and carried Bucs single-handedly. It’s only fair that he gets an award. Pam

Ajax continue to work miracles in the Champions League. These young players don’t panic and are eager to take on the giants. Football minds are running this team. Mbomi

Congrats to SuperSport for winning the Tshwane derby against Sundowns convincingly. Finally they have broken the hoodoo of not beating Downs in the past six years. Finzo

Dan Malesela is fast proving his worth as a local coach. His track record speaks volumes and I think given resources and support he can do well on a bigger stage. He gives the local flavour some well-deserved shine. Rudolf

Themba Zwane deserves something this season. He has been outstanding and influential for Sundowns. He scores crucial goals and has made an indelible mark. Rey

Dax Adrianarimanana is enjoying his football at Chiefs. He creates and combines well with his team mates. He has developed after getting regular game time. Muthambi

Ajax Amsterdam’s fountain of youth has been really impressive in the Uefa Champions League this season. They outplayed defending champions Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus and are just such a pleasure to watch. This group of youngsters will go far in the future if they can keep all their bright young talents together. Remboti

Super agent Tim Sukazi’s Galaxy really made our weekend by seeing off Golden Arrows to set an exciting final showdown against Kaizer Chiefs. Salute to both “Dan Dance” and the boys. The cup is yours for the taking. The gap narrows by the day between the PSL and NFD teams. Just ask Golden Arrows. Baba

Kaizer Chiefs’ Khama Billiat is a supremely brilliant player. He gave a superb performance against Chippa United. He produced simply magical football and reminded me of the old Billiat. Lekwabu

This past week has shown us that nothing can ever replace talent. This assertion is resplendent in both Lionel Messi’s resurgence in form with super performing in Barcelona’s 3-0 rout of Manchester United in the Uefa Champions League and the 11-year waiting period for Tiger Woods amid personal challenges to resurface and win the US Masters at Augusta National. Modiri Moroka

True to its history of surprises, the Nedbank Cup has yet again pulled the rabbit out of the hat by having National First Division side TS Galaxy surprisingly winning through to the final of the competition. So although Ernst’ Middendorp’s Kaizer Chiefs have made no secret of their hunger for silverware for a very long time, they must heed the cliché “Beware the Ides of March”. Modiri

Salute Tim Sukazi’s boys for executing a giant-killing act over the weekend. It is even encouraging to learn that his team has no foreign player. S.B

It never rains but it pours for the Bloemfontein Celtic owner Max Tshabalala. Story after story of unfulfilled promises and money owed keep resurfacing against the embattled Tshabalala. It is claimed that he owes MDC development players bonuses after they won the MDC but recently bought the new Ford Ranger bakkie. Melato Thembinkosi Lorch and Themba Zwane have been a marvel to watch throughout the season. The tussle for Footballer of the Season is going to be between this duo. Melato Radebe Our local footballers should learn that a “people-pleasing” attitude and living won’t take them anywhere in life. And another thing, why do most fatal accidents happen at the break of dawn, and usually a day after matches? May the souls of all our departed heroes RIP. MR

This is the best opportunity for Chiefs to end their lengthy cup drought and bring back smiles to the faces of their fans. All the threats are out and they should win the Nedbank Cup. But TS Galaxy will be a big obstacle. Maroyi

If the Nedbank semifinal displays are anything to go by then we are in for a treat from both finalists, Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy, in Durban. Both teams have played enterprising football. Godfrey George Chigova has been in sublime form for Polokwane City this season. He helped Zimbabwe to qualify for the important Afcon in Egypt. Mokema

Dan Malesela is fast becoming one of the best coaches in Mzansi. Reaching the final of the Nedbank Cup with an NFD team will remain the biggest highlight of his career. He made history. TS Galaxy is playing exciting football. Musami

The combination of Parker and Billiat is starting to gel well. They are starting to hurt other teams. It’s improving each and every game. Mmakgatla

Congratulations to TS Galaxy for going to the Nedbank final – fantastic for a kasi side (locals). Andrew Thanks to Kaizer Chiefs for proving all critics wrong and showing a pure fighting spirit. Players win the match not the coach. What value for money. Tshepo Bohloko

Kindly allow me to congratulate TS Galaxy for putting on such a good performance against Arrows. To Dan Dance, I say keep it up, to the owner, may God be with you. LTM

With due respect to Dan Malesela’s TS Galaxy team, victory against a thirsting for glory Chiefs side is, I fear, impossible. Chief Makuwa

If TS Galaxy display the sort of football in the final against Chiefs that they displayed this past Saturday afternoon against Arrows, then we are in for a hell of a final. Melato
