Numerous exciting events have been lined up for holiday weekend.

It’s Women’s Day tomorrow. Here are five solid reasons to head to Silverstar casino:

1. Majozi – live and loud

Majozi is a proudly South African musician from Durban.

This popular artist wears his heart on his sleeve and is not afraid to show it.

He has beautiful tattoos dedicated to his faith and to his mother – and both are the inspiratio­n behind his musical genius.

Catch his show at Silverstar on Saturday from 8pm for only R150 a ticket.

2. The Ba le is back!

Calling all fitness enthusiast­s! The Battle is back for the sixth time!

This popular three-day CrossFit event is guaranteed to have your blood pumping.

CrossFit M4M and BST CrossFit joined forces in 2014 to put together a fun competitio­n that allows individual­s of all levels of fitness to participat­e and showcase their fitness.

The event just keeps growing and getting bigger and better.

Not an athlete? Spectators will have access to one of the biggest fitness vendor villages in South Africa.

The Battle is on at Silverstar from tomorrow to Sunday. Spectator tickets are available at the door. Get your day pass at only R80 or R170 for a weekend pass.

3. Go big with a 12-hour car chase

Do you have what it takes to win a car in 12 hours?

The Go Big or Go home game is on at Silverstar. On the public holidays – tomorrow and Tuesday, September 24 – you will get 12 hours to play and earn tickets for your chance to win a Nissan NP, or cash prizes.

For every 100 points you will get one entry into the draw.

You have from 8am to 8pm to earn as many entries as you can.

4. Bingo

Enjoy a session of bingo on Sunday. Call your friends and make a day of it – and stand the chance of winning the progressiv­e jackpot valued at a minimum of R50 000.
