Taxpayers footing bill for govt’s ineptitude

They have a real cheek to ask us to pay for Covid-19 vaccines, writes

What a cheek this government has. I see they are thinking of a tax hike to pay for Covid-19 vaccines. Not only are they the cause of hundreds of small businesses going under due to their draconian rules regarding the pandemic (banning cigarette and alcohol sales, costing the fiscus billions of rands in lost income), they now want to punish the people actually paying their taxes by hiking it to pay for their ineptitude.

Forget about SAA and use that R10 billion to pay for vaccinations.

They once again banned alcohol to satisfy the whims of NDZ, a lady who takes pride in trampling on peoples aspirations of making a decent living. She ignores the plights of restaurateurs pleading with government to unban alcohol and move the curfew to 11pm so that they can have a running chance of surviving.

How long must we endure this nonsense? Time for citizens of this country to say enough is enough.
