Immovable and movable assets from the renowned animal feed producer, Barnlab (in liquidation), are now available to purchase by tender via Park Village Auctions.
That’s the news from PVA’s Johan du Toit, who says that livestock farmers and farm suppliers alike associate the brand name with excellence.
As such, he anticipates that offers will be abounding.
There are three properties, each to be sold as one inclusive lot with their respective plants, machinery, equipment, office furniture and factory consumables.
The immovable properties are:
Vereeniging, portion 10 of the Farm Panfontein, Vischgat Road. Estimated GLA 9 032m2. Vryburg, number 5 lndustria Street. Estimated GLA 9 285m2. Riviersonderend, number 1 Van Riebeeck Avenue. Estimated GLA 4 472m2.
Some movable assets include:
An Intake Hooper with auger feeder;
A bucket elevator;
A cyclone;
Six portioning bins; Final portioning bins; Premix bins;
A 1.5-ton ribbon mixer; Raw material storage bins with discharge auger;
A bucket elevator;
A hopper with a hammermill; A ground product bucket elevator, and a dump hopper; Bagging machinery; and Platinum boilers.
Vehicles include:
A 30-ton bulk auger tanker and a tri-axle trailer,
A Ford 6610 tractor
A 20-ton tipper trailer A 10-ton drawbar trailer; and A Manitou Telehandler. There is also a variety of office furniture and equipment, such as desks, chairs, tables, filing cabinets, printers, bookcases, credenzas and shelving.
Appointments to view the properties and assets are available between 9am and 3pm from 6-10 February.
Offers must be submitted to PVA in writing no later than 2pm on Friday, 17 February.
