Celebratin­g the ‘tenacity, boldness’ of property investors

The IOTY Awards is a platform created to celebrate property investors positively impacting the South African property investment and developmen­t landscape.

Whether a portfolio with one investment deal or a solid history of many property deals, the IOTY Awards are open to all South Africans over 18, who believe they have what it takes to be the next top property investor.

In addition to the coveted title of Investor of the Year, category winners can look forward to a five-star holiday, electronic tablets, men’s and ladies’ watches and property investment coaching as some of the prizes for the nation’s top property investors.

Andrew Walker, CEO and founder of the SA Property Investors Network, expressed his enthusiasm for the event.

“The Investor of the Year

Awards celebrates the tenacity and boldness of investors in the high-stakes field of property investment recognisin­g their achievemen­ts in creating wealth in a creative and impactful manner,” Walker said.

Over the next eight months, the team at the SA Property Investors Network will embark on a nationwide search for the entrants to the Investor of the Year Awards 2024 who will undergo a rigorous judging process in the hopes of making it as a finalist.

This year’s award categories include:

Beginner category: For those embarking on their property investment journey.

Intermedia­te: Aimed at investors managing a growing portfolio of two or more properties.

Big leagues: Tailored for investors venturing into developmen­t or commercial spaces.
