We live in a crime capital – drugs, murders, GBV, etc. Govt politicians have many bodyguards. The public have dysfunctional police. It is so bad that they use private security firms to protect cop shops! Is something wrong here?

Not one of our state-owned enterprises are managed properly or functional, so how does the useless ANC government think it could run the proposed National Health Insurance scheme? The only thing it will achieve is to ruin medical aid schemes and drive out of the country a huge amount of doctors and medical workers. Dave

No matter how much the ANC talk it up, nothing has changed after the International Court of Justice ruling on Israel. It will take years for an actual penalty against Israel and Israel doesn’t recognise the ICJ as binding on them. It would be far better for SA to address its own human rights issues.
