Thursday’s front page ‘Where polls will be won or lost’ and the people in Braamfischerville jumping the sewer flow in the street: as said for the past 15 years and potholes, roads as indicated, I bet my life they will still vote ANC or, even worse, EFF. We need help from above.

The EFF hammer on radical economic transformation. Do the idiots know what it means? About everything in this country from street names to town names have been changed. The economy was changed for the worse. So I like to ask the EFF what else do you want to screw up with your (RET) idea?

I am at a loss as to why SA is preparing a new submission to the ICJ regarding the loss of life in Gaza. No-one can justify the killing but are none of the Arab nations willing to support Palestine and who is financing our application when we have so many problems at home?

Mike Brown

Our defence force is in a pathetic state due to shortage of money. The shortage of money can directly been linked to ANC corruption, with the state coffers being raided by Zuma and the Guptas. Theo Smith

ANC voters remind me of abused women – for some reason they keep coming back for more, hoping for a different outcome. It’s tragic. Mac Fairland

Now water shedding. Kiss tourism goodbye. More job losses, more skilled people living SA. Just another liberation party that can’t govern. Just another Third World African country. CC

SAA is bankrupt because it has been mismanaged by ANC-appointed unqualified staff. It should be shut down and if it has any assets they should sold to benefit taxpayers, who have been robbed for years.

Dave

NS, you not totally correct. It is not only farming that we fall short on. It’s everything. Now I read because of the heatwave we have a problem with water supply. Always excuses for the current government’s inability to manage our once beautiful functional country.

Eskom’s spokesperson says they must get cost-related price increases. Considering that they are overstaffed, incompetent, with fraud and theft rampant, what a bunch of crock. Graham W
