The Democratic Alliance-led multiparty coalition should make it clear who their potential presidenti­al candidates are and who are not. Politics are an emotive issue and a white presidenti­al candidate is not on. If this coalition want to win the elections they must shape themselves to appeal to the majority. It would also make sense to point out the skills they bring to the table for ministeria­l positions.

We are constantly being told that Joburg is short of water, yet at the junction of Elizabeth Avenue and Augusta Street in Linmeyer, water has been pouring out of the ground for many months. Would it be incorrect to suggest that somebody at Joburg Water is not fulfilling their duties?
