‘ALL ABOARD’ FESTIVAL

TUNA CLASSIC

THE annual Tuna Classic starts tomorrow, with registrati­on and the opening function from 4pm. It is hosted by the Deep Sea Angling Club (Pedsac) in the PE Harbour. A mass launch of the boats is scheduled for Thursday, between 6.30 and 7am. Public en- try is free and artist Marula Boom will rock the tuna tent on Friday from 8pm.

U3A REVISITS SHIPWRECKS

U3A (University of the Third Age) will meet in the Newton Park Library auditorium today at 10am. Colin Urqhart will speak on Sailing Through Troubled Waters, highlighti­ng shipwrecks along our coast. Visitors are welcome. Inquiries: Merlene, (041) 503-7902.
