CORRUPT LEADERS NEED TO BE ERASED
THIS country can say no to xenophobia till the cows come home, but nothing will change until corrupt African leaders (including ours) are removed, we stop screaming “a home for all”, remove communists/union power who are chasing investment (jobs) away, we seal our borders, we remove our lazy, “demand” culture, our “leaders” focus on home and stop interfering (spending billions of rands in other countries. We are South African first, and not our brothers keeper, especially when they are evil like Mugabe. TOM H HOW about starting a new debate. Government spent trillions in 21 years which is unaccountable. Crimes against humanity, other fellow south Africans. Self enrichment is the order of the day for certain people while others must suffer. It’s about time the mayor got off his backside and started to get the wonderful city of PE back to its former glory. A friendly, safe, happy and functioning city. Crime is at its worst, hijacking, robberies, murder, now the order of the day. It is what we deserve and demand as ratepayers. Also congratulations to Kabega Park Police Station for the quick arrest of the suspects in the Jayde Panayiotou murder. There is hope for PE. When will the authorities take action against this company. What motorists need to know is, they don’t need to use this company at an accident scene even if they are the first there. Your insurance has allocated a tow-truck company to help you, all you need to do is to phone their help-line number. READER RANGAN must be brought to justice, he’s giving other Indians a bad name, he’s trying to be the godfather of PE which he will never be. SAM The tow-truck owner, we all know who he is now. STAFF TO BLAME AT SHODDY HOSPITAL
FOR many months, probably even years, the Livingstone Hospital has been investigated and reported as being seriously well below hygienic and other standards. Pride also separates those who care from those who don’t. But finally the buck always lands on the top dog’s desk. If competent as a leader, all staff will follow with respect and pride likely to be seen in their daily work. However, Dale Carnegie and The Peter Principle both agree that if the head is incompetent, he cannot ensure that high standards will prevail. GREG G LIVINGSTONE Hospital casualty service is in a state of utmost organised chaos. Rename the hospital to Dying stone. But people still vote ANC. What happened to our pledge of service, that my patient will be my first consideration. One doctor on duty clearly thinks all people going there are uneducated.
