IT IS very sad to see the comments made by J W re violence by black people and that violence breeds violence. The violence of the apartheid era cannot be changed so, J W, you say blacks will therefore always be justified in committing violent crime and much of this violence is against black people. Some of the violence shown in the media from our present government against black people would not have been out of place in the apartheid era. Surely it is time to go forward and condemn all violence and maybe to remember but not to dwell in the past.
